The LEA phone call and getting back to normal.

The LEA phoned this morning. They want to come and see me about Kyles education, he only left of the 17th May!!!! I think it is a bit soon so I am requesting an appointment about October time. I must admit feeling a little worried about what they are going to say or how they are going to be with me. I am waiting for them to call me back about the October suggestion.

Bailey went back to school today, bless him he was so excited to see his taxi driver this morning as he loves him to bits. Tyler doesnt go back until tomorrow. Yesterday I was too fragile after my night out on Saturday, so I didnt post!

Kyle played with his electronics kit yesterday afternoon, he made an alarm and a lighbulb circuit.

Ok, so I caved to "kid pressure" over the weekend and bought nintendo ds. They wanted a mario game but after the excellent things I had heard about animal crossing, i bought that instead. They havent been off it since! Even I had a go and Im not a gaming person. Its great.

Don't worry about the LEA - they have no right to come round and they can't argue with you asking to see them in October. If they do they are acting outside the law. You don't have to have a visit at all if you don't want. You could offer them education philosopy or a report. If you do have them round make sure you have a third party witness. Stops em being naughty if they are likely to be. I don't have ours round. They are not house trained. LOL I bowed to kid pressure for a ds a few weeks ago. They have rowed over it ever since - sigh. Our has Animal Crossing too.

That game is getting so popular!!

We borrowed Animal crossing on the gamecube from a friend and I got so hooked I went out and bought a DS and AC:WW within a week! (insert embarrassed smiley!). What fruit trees do you have?

Sounds like you had a fab night out Jamie, glad you enjoyed yourself.

ruth - thanks for the moral support! i will be insisting that a visit doesnt happen until october (if at all) and education philosophy sounds a good idea.... Animal crossing, fantastic game! the kids wont get off it!

Linda - I have an apple tree, which i bought in honour of bailey as he loves apples and would eat a whole bag in a sitting if i let him! I had a good night out....although i ached like hell yesterday and had a banging hangover!
